Connecting Travellers to the Peaks That Shape Us

Mountains of Pakistan was founded to bridge the gap between travellers seeking authentic mountain experiences and the local communities who have lived alongside these peaks for generations.

What began as a small platform sharing travel stories and route guides quickly grew into a full-service travel concierge. Today we work with over 120 local families across Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Kashmir — curating treks, arranging homestays, and ensuring every journey benefits the people who call these mountains home.

Adventurer · Storyteller · Mountain Guide

Affan founded Mountains of Pakistan after a decade of exploring Pakistan's northern arc as a documentary photographer and trekking guide. His work has appeared in Dawn, The News, and leading travel publications across the country. He is a certified wilderness first responder and speaks Urdu, English, Pashto, and basic Balti.
